Dr. Luis J. Vidaurri is a licensed ophthalmologist and surgeon. He is a graduate of the University Autonoma of Nuevo Leon Medical School, Monterrey, Mexico. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Hebrew University Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel followed by fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease at Harvard University, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, MA, and Refractive surgery at Texas University, Hermann Eye Center, Houston, TX. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cornea and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Vidaurri is a certified Laser Surgeon and has been involved with refractive surgery since 1987. He served as Assistant Professor of Cornea and External Disease at the San Jose Hospital in Monterrey, Mexico. Dr. Luis J. Vidaurri has a special interest in Cataract surgery with Intraocular Lens Implantation and Laser and Refractive surgery. MEMBER

Dr. Kathrine A. Wegiel is a United States National Board certified optometrist, holding licenses in California, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. She is a graduate of Boston College and earned her doctorate at the New England College of Optometry, Boston, MA., including in her training rotations was Hebrew University, Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel. She served as staff Optometrist in the general eye service at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, MA and has been in private practice for over 15 years. She is actively involved in the co-management of post-operative refractive surgery patients. Kathrine A. Wegiel has a special interest in contact lenses and fits all types of contact lenses including soft, gas permeable, extended wear and disposable. She enjoys the challenge of the hard to fit patient. |

It is a five minute drive into Mexico, just ten blocks from the international border line. We have ample parking. For those who prefer to park on the U.S. side, it is about a $5.00 taxi ride.
